Today was our first Farmers' Market of the 2019 season!
We're so thankful the rain held off and gave us a beautiful, sunny morning of selling flowers!
We had beautiful bouquets with bells of Ireland, poppies, peonies, sweet peas, clematis, delphinium, forget-me-nots, and stock. It was the last week of ranunculus...until next year!
Summer blooms are on their way in the garden.
If you missed us this week, stop by next week and grab a bouquet for Mother's Day!
If you've never been to the Downtown Knoxville Farmers' Market, you're missing out!
There are vendors of pastries, coffee, jewelry, fruits and veggies, crafts, plants, and also yummy food trucks. Come support local businesses!
The market lasts from 9am-2pm, but if you want the best selection you better get there early!
Some additional tips/info:
The vegetables in the pictures are from Lacewing Farms.
Bring your own reusable bag or mason jar to the market to help reduce waste.
Dogs technically are not allowed in the main walkway, but there is plenty of space for them in Krutch Park.
You can stop by the market tent by the entrance to Krutch Park to learn more or visit
https://www.nourishknoxville.org/market-square-farmers-market/ in the meantime!
Hope to see you there!
